Landscape Policy Accelerator
Duncan Okowa is a Research Associate at the World Resources Institute (WRI). He is Africa lead for the Landscape Policy Accelerator program, a peer-to-peer capacity development and co-creation program for policymakers looking to improve existing policies or design new policies or incentive mechanisms to accelerate landscape restoration. Prior to joining WRI, he was the Senior Programme Officer at the Institute for Law and Environmental Governance (ILEG), leading the design and execution of research, capacity building and advocacy projects around forests, natural resources and climate change governance. Duncan holds an M.A in Environmental Policy from the University of Nairobi in Kenya.
