Senior expert, specialist in plant ecology, pastoralism, and sustainable management of natural resources. Zougoulou has over 36 years of experience at national and international level. He has held multiple positions: Teacher-researcher, Coordinator of national strategy and action plan in terms of biodiversity in Chad, Secretary General of University Institutes, Director of Wildlife Conservation and Protected Areas, Director of Forests, Advisor technical then Secretary General of the Ministry of the Environment, Director General of the Agency for Domestic Energy and the Environment and currently, Scientific and Technical Director of the Pan-African Agency for the Great Green Wall.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
