Edward Okot Omoya is an ICMA/ IFC Certified Climate Champion and a seasoned ESG Specialist with over 10 years of experience, serving in different roles with International, Regional and National organizations, and institutions including; IPC GmbH Frankfurt, National Environment Management Authority (NEMA-Uganda), Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), Air Water Earth (AWE) Ltd, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda, SGS (U) Ltd, and UNDP/Fafo, Edward is currently serving as the Consultant- Environmental and Social Management Specialist at EADB, a position he has held since 2018 and has developed the Bank’s Climate Change Policy, Environmental and Social Policy, and Gender Policy and Action Plan, and the ESG Sustainability Framework, among other Climate Change efforts within the Bank.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
