Forest 500 Lead

Description

Emma leads the Forest 500 and Deforestation Action Tracker projects within Global Canopy's Corporate Performance program, bringing greater accountability to the companies and financial institutions in forest-risk commodity supply chains. This includes developing the assessment methodologies, delivering the annual reports and engaging with the companies and financial institutions involved. She also led the development of the Finance Sector Roadmap – which received UK government backing at COP26 – and guidance for pension funds, offering a step-by-step guide to help them work towards deforestation-free portfolios.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
