Adaptation

Refers to adjustments in ecological, social, or economic systems in response to actual or expected climatic stimuli and their effects or impacts. The faster the climate changes, and the longer adaptation efforts are put off, the more difficult and expensive it could be. The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement.
