We are now accepting membership applications! We invite companies, project developers, investors (includes NGOs that work on carbon projects), Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), and NGOs and other organizations to apply. https://bit.ly/pfp-join IPLCs are widely recognized as having the best track record of protecting forests against destruction and degradation, yet these communities receive less than 1% of Official Development Assistance for climate mitigation and adaptation. Launched in November 2021 at the COP-26 climate negotiations, our platform is dedicated to driving direct private investment in community-driven forest conservation and restoration projects, while setting the best-in-class standard for equitable, accessible, and culturally appropriate mechanisms for forest communities to engage with climate finance.  PFP membership represents a commitment to equitable and high-integrity direct investment in community-based carbon offsets and conservation. Members will have access to: • A platform supporting direct dialogue between companies, communities, investors, and other stakeholders • Training and advice to help create equitable investment partnerships between the members We encourage all interested organizations to apply now on the PFP website: https://bit.ly/pfp-join.
