Faces of Forestry | XV World Forestry Congress

Description

The Youth Coalition under the XV World Forestry Congress and Youth4Nature (Y4N) are excited to launch a new campaign called “The Faces of Forestry: A Living Library”! The XV WFC is prioritizing providing a platform for youth and other underrepresented communities to share their voices to an audience of global forest and forest-related stakeholders. Through The Faces of Forestry campaign, youth will share their lived experiences and perspectives from the forest sector and other forestry-related work. Our goal is to showcase the human side of this sector and to demonstrate the diversity of the forest sector, inspiring further engagement amongst WFC participants and beyond.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
