Kwitonda Philippe graduated from University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Netherlands. He is currently Director General in Charge of Land, Water and Forestry in Ministry of Environment. He has a rich experience in natural resources management. He has contributed to different projects to restore catchments and understands the need to protect natural resources in an integrated manner to ensure their sustainable use.

GLF GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
