Description

Johannes Pirker focusses on the design, implementation and measurement reporting and verification (MRV) of Natural Climate Solutions, including REDD+ programs and Forest Landscapes Restoration initiatives. His geographic focus area is francophone Africa. He holds a master’s degree in forestry from AgroParisTech/France and a PhD in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven/Belgium. Mr. Pirker is professional staff of UNIQUE land use and holds a guest researcher position with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).
