Description

Evans Sampene Mensah works as an environmentalist and a social forester with over a decade of experience. His expertise is in multi-stakeholder’s platform engagement, natural resources conflict management, sustainable forest management practices, environmental safeguards, and climate change. Currently, Evans works as Project Manager with Tropenbos Ghana on the Mobilizing More for Climate (MoMo4C) Prgramme. This program is being implemented in the Western North Region of Ghana, a cocoa growing area in the Sefwi-Wiawso, Juabeso, and Bia landscape. In the MoMo4C programme, Evans works to develop “Innovative Finance for Climate Action Using a Landscape Approach”.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
