The Farmer-Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) method has been further developed and fine-tuned by the Australian Tony Rinaudo (the Forest maker) and his colleagues from World Vision over the last decades with local communities and champion farmers in various African countries and beyond. Tony Rinaudo has received the alternative Nobel prize for his work on FMNR.
