The film tells the story of climate change through the visual impact of one of the planet's most important and yet critically threatened resources – glaciers. The Generation Restoration Film Festival will screen an exclusive preview of a fragment of The Last Glaciers, in which the explorers travel to Peru to look at depreciating tropical glaciers and what this means for the local communities. The Last Glaciers full-length film will be released during World Water Day, on March 22, 2022. Take action with The Last Glaciers This film is a code red wake-up call that distills the dense science on climate change into an easy-to-understand and visual journey of the facts. The film team and several scientific organizations, such as UNEP, NASA, MIT, MRI, are collaborating to enhance and turn the website into an education portal where audiences can continue their learning about the issues mentioned in The Last Glaciers.
