Description

Oluwaseun co-founded the Ecosusainers initiative in Nigeria, a network of young foresters promoting the participation of indigenous communities in sustainable forest management and leading on advocacy as regards the management of natural resources across the country. She worked as the Head of Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR)/Youth in Landscapes (YIL) Sub- Commission of the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA). Also, Oluwaseun worked with the UN-REDD Programme on the Vlogging for forest campaign to advocate forest/nature protection at the Conference of Youth (COY15) and Conference of the parties of the UNFCCC Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP25).

GLF GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
