Description

Chris Armitage is a business development and strategic partnering professional. He has played a central role in the inception and development of several multi-sectoral collaborations and development platforms – most notably the development Africa CSA Alliance and the EverGreen Agriculture Partnership (EVAP). Chris is the CEO of the Global EverGreening Alliance, which unites the world’s largest and most capable development NGOs and technical and research organizations. Harnessing the capacities of its members, as well as Chris’ experience leading the development of a diverse range of funding and programming models, the Alliance is working in diverse contexts around the world.

GLF GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
