Mery Utitiaj, 29 years old, is from Taisha Canton, Ecuador. She is studying film at the University of the Arts in Guayaquil; so far, she has created a short film called Jurijrí, a legend of the Shuar mythology that takes care of nature, stories of her culture, with the purpose of imparting the legends of her people, giving a message of awareness through it, for the care of the environment.
