Description
Karina Barrera Moncayo has 20 years of experience developing, managing, and implementing environmental, circular economy, and sustainable development projects in the public and private sectors, as well as civil society. She has experience managing social-environmental and risk management issues for private sector investment projects, and with coordinating climate change projects with Amazonian Indigenous communities. She has held public positions such as Advisor to the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of the Environment. She is currently the Undersecretary of Climate Change in the same institution.
