Oliver, currently based in Sao Paulo/Brazil, leads the All eyes on the Amazon Project with Greenpeace Brazil. He has been responsible for over 20 years for campaign strategies in environmental campaigning in various countries such as Brazil, Germany, Finland, Russia, Canada, Indonesia or the Dem. Rep. of Congo taking governments or companies responsible for their action destroying the Forests and the home of Indigenous People. His focus has been mostly but not solely on the protection of the world’s forests and the defense of the right of the Indigenous People for the sustainable use of its land inhabited for millennia.

GLF GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
