Join us for the launch of an urgent call from local civil society organizations (CSOs) to protect the Amazonian rain forest and the rights of Indigenous, local and Afro-descendant communities. This statement was articulated during a co-creation process to shape the conference, its messages, focus and speakers. We are launching the statement today and encourage all to consider endorsing the statement between now and GLF Climate. This statement joins the ranks of other initiatives to protect Amazonia and its people including, but not limited to the initiatives outlined here.
