Fundacion Natura is an NGO that, since 1983, has been working with a socio-ecological approach that recognizes the close relationship between humans and nature. FNC is committed to the conservation of Colombia’s natural wealth, because of its great diversity and the ecosystem services it provides to society. Learn about three initiatives that FNC is currently carrying out in the Colombian Amazon: • Amazonia 2.0: a six-country project that, based on community monitoring, has improved intercultural territorial governance in indigenous and peasant territories. • Strengthening Indigenous Governance and Peace: shows how indigenous youth experienced the pandemic and how ancestral knowledge and scientific management converge to deal with the health emergency. • Value chains of Amazon palms: how local producers see their relationship with national and international markets, under a bioeconomy approach.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
