Description

Nic sees and uses food as a tool to solve some of humanity's biggest problems related to food systems. He is the Co-founder of Organic Life Limited, an agri-technology social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, that empowers small-holder farmers to increase their yield and profit through good agricultural practices. His current focus is reducing food loss and waste in the agri-food systems supply chain, curating knowledge collectively to facilitate conversation and action towards addressing this massive food system issue. He is the author of two books: Organic Life's Guide to Concoctions and Minimal Eats - A manifesto for the Anthropocene.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
