Description

Harrington Nyirenda holds an MSc in Environmental Ecology from University of Pretoria (South Africa). He has worked in the field of sustainable land management and sustainable agriculture for over 10 years across Malawi. He has published research work in the fields of Agroforestry, forest ecology, food security, conservation agriculture. He has presented research work at several international conferences. Currently he coordinates a Forest Landscape Restoration Project and will also coordinate GEF 7 when it starts in Malawi at district level.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement.
