Mrs. Gifty Asanga is 35 years old, from the hamlet of Sumbrungu in Ghana's northern savannah. She farms and raises cowpeas, soybeans, and rice. She also gathers shea nuts to produce shea butter. Additionally, she makes straw baskets.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement.
