Marek is the founder and Managing Director at AfricaCentric Entertainment (ACE). Kenya’s leading Talent Agency. ACE is also a festival agency and a brand agency, working with some of the biggest companies and brands in Kenya. Marek is also the former Manager of Sauti Sol and MD of Sauti Sol Entertainment for close to 7 years, leading the group to sign a global deal with Universal Music Group, the biggest recording company in the world. SSE is one of the most successful entertainment companies founded by a performing artist in Kenya. SSE is also behind the founding of Sol Generation Records (SGR), the home of Bensoul and Nviiri. Before he entered the entertainment industry, Marek led a successful business career in mobile tech, international trade, and most notably in CSV (Creating Shared Value), a more sustainable form of CSR in the corporate world. Marek is originally from the Czech Republic but has lived elsewhere for over 26 years, spanning from Cape Town, South Africa, to Los Angeles in the USA, to finally settling in Nairobi, Kenya. Marek is the Alumni of Bishops, Diocesan College, Santa Monica College, UCLA and Stanford Seed. Marek is passionate about personal branding, business development, entertainment, branding, marketing and talent management.
