Description

Marine biologist, Miss Janna, is currently a master’s candidate at the Stellenbosch University in South Africa conducting research on fish biodiversity using environmental DNA and BRUVs. She is a part-time social media strategist and content creator, blog writer, and mentor at #SeatherBiggerPicture. Jamila graduated at UKZN in 2018 with honors in Marine Biology. Her background is in stable isotopes, estuarine and coastal ecology, filmmaking, science communication, and marine activism. She has participated in several stakeholder engagements, was a liaison officer for youth, and has an interest in environmental racism and intersectionality in marine conservation.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement.
