Description

Manitrala Rasoanaivo is an independent expert in sustainable forest management, landscape and forest restoration and forest socioeconomics. She is currently contributing to operationalizing two national projects coordinated by FAO and the Global Environment Facility focusing on integrated landscape management and biodiversity conservation in various agroecological zones of Madagascar. She has previously contributed to diverse national and international programs promoting sustainable forestry and access to energy.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
