Bio

Johannes Mössinger is an expert in management information systems and software for impact monitoring and land use modelling. He leads Unique´s digital solution team (https://digital.unique-landuse.de) developing robust monitoring tools that are tailored to the requirements of (carbon-) standards and the needs of family farms and forest owners. This includes the development of field data collection tools such as an APP up to remote sensing based analysis. The personal regional focus of his work is Latin America and East Africa.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
