Samuel is a daring young person from Kenya who believes in creating social impact in communities around the world. He is the current Land Accelerator Africa Manager. He works to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in support of landscape restoration enterprises in Africa. Samuel has in the past over 8 years been working with enterprises in Agribusiness, renewable energy and restoration businesses. He is a specialist in SMEs empowerment in the fields of agribusiness development, business development services, project planning and management, secure livelihoods, gender and climate change issues and sustainable development.

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
