Bio

Diego Creimer is Director, Finance and Biodiversity, at Sociéte pour la nature et les parcs (SNAP Québec) in Canada. In the last 11 years, Diego has worked in different positions at the David Suzuki Foundation and Greenpeace Canada, ranging from communications to management. Since 2021, he coordinates the Nature Climate Solutions campaign at CPAWS as well as two applied research projects on local biodiversity impact indicators for institutional investors in Quebec, and municipal eco-fiscality measures applied to the protection of natural carbon sinks. He has co-authored a collection of essays on the ecological transition and new sustainable local business models (Demain le Québec, La Presse, Québec, 2018).

GLOBAL LANDSCAPES FORUM (GLF)

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress. It is led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), in collaboration with its co-founders UNEP and the World Bank and Charter Members.
