Bio

Forestry engineer graduated from the UFJDC in Colombia and specialized Master’s Degree in Sustainable Management from the ISEADD in France, Alexander has been providing his Climate Strategy expertise to businesses and territories for the last 15 years. He joined Nestlé in 2023 to lead its Global Forest Positive Strategy, bringing his experience in carbon finance, sustainable sourcing, ESG criteria and carbon project development to Nestle Net Zero roadmap. Prior to this position, Alexander worked as Climate Manager with Eurazeo, a major player in private market in assets management, and Environmental specialized consultancy firms like ERM and Ecoact supporting companies in the development and monitoring of its CSR performance. He has led climate change adaptation and mitigation projects (Kenya, Uganda, Colombia, Ecuador, Thailand and France) and has implemented socio-economic and environmental externalities evaluation and monetization to respond to relevant rating agencies and standards (GRI, CDP, SBTi, Gold Standard, VCS, etc.)
