Bio

Holder of a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne and a post-graduate diploma in Management from the University of Paris - Dauphine, Alain Liva Raharijaona was Economic Counsellor of the Embassy of Madagascar in Brussels from 2007 to 2019. From 2015 to 2019, he was a member of the Board of FAPBM and President of the Investment Committee. He became Executive Director of FAPBM on November 18th, 2019. FAPBM is a Conservation Trust Fund based in Madagascar with an endowment Fund of 139 millions USD. We are looking for companies or institutions interested in investing in protected areas in Madagascar.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Agreement. The Forum takes a holistic approach to create sustainable landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient and considers five cohesive themes of food and livelihoods, landscape restoration, rights, finance and measuring progress.
